no clothing's Dollie Corset, created for Del Forte Denim's Rejeaneration Project, was featured in today's WWD! The article is titled "It's Only Natural" and shows examples of what a few eco-conscious denim lines are doing to live up to their green claims. no resolutions

A new year, a new resolution. I can't believe I haven't done this sooner, but I'm finally taking the pledge. For six months I will not make any clothing, shoe, accessory, or furniture purchases that aren't recycled / used / handmade. I am, however, allowing a cheat of one and only one emergency item. Because hey, you never know when you might randomly wake up reincarnated as a catholic school girl and suddenly need to buy a uniform. Am I right? OK no, but I might actually need a proper grown-up interviewing blazer one of these days. Since NYC is at my doorstep I doubt I'll need to use my Get Out Of Jail Free card, what with the plethora of options available from thrift shops to luxury pre-loved clothing. Who knows? Six months could potentially very easily stretch to twelve. Wish me luck.
